The thinking behind the experience

A clear purpose.
A considered experience.

A technical training business needs to serve people who already know the course they want and people still exploring their options. Firefly combines a prominent course-search entry, organized training routes, and a separate services story, making a substantial offering easier to approach from several starting points.

Observations about the captured public experience. Current features may include later work by other teams; these observations do not establish the founder’s ownership of each design choice.

01

Course discovery is given a clear home

Search, technical education navigation, and a course-locator route provide several ways into the training offering. Login and contact access have their own places in the header. This gives a returning learner, a prospective student, and an organizational buyer different starting points without asking each to follow the same path.

02

A recognizable visual system carries the offer

The orange Firefly identity and calls to action stand out against white navigation and blue technical imagery. The opening promotion pairs a focused training proposition with an explicit next step. That consistent contrast helps distinguish an action from supporting information and makes the visual treatment feel connected to the brand.

03

Services have a separate, scannable story

Consulting, managed services, and staff augmentation appear as distinct service areas with short descriptions and links. Giving each its own space prevents a broad business offering from becoming a single block of general claims. It helps a visitor recognize the kind of engagement they are looking for before opening a detail page.

04

The catalog is supported by useful context

Course cards introduce specific training options, while articles and webinars create additional routes to learn about the subject. Contact details and existing-learner access remain available around that content. The page therefore supports both an immediate course search and a more considered exploration of the company’s offering.

Bring the thinking to your business

A useful lesson.
A stronger next move.

When a business has a broad technical offering, separate the visitor’s jobs: find training, understand services, access an existing account, or start a conversation.
